Well, now don't this beat all...as my grandmother would say!
An Illinois federal judge has ruled that the moment of silence practiced in schools across Illinois is unconstitutional and "is a subtle effort to force students at impressionable ages to contemplate religion."
In other words, now the children can not only not pray in school, but they can't even take a moment of silence to think about anything that they choose because the system is afraid they might choose to think about God.
