Okay, so after that pretty serious and toe-stepping-on post from last night, this one will seem quite frivolous and downright jolly! :)
But we were in the car today and Lindsey asked me if we could sing songs. She then started singing at the top of her lungs:
"CAN'T THIS LADY SING THIS SONG? DO DAH, DO DAH!"
So that begs for the question to be answered, what lyrics have you gotten wrong over the years and were totally shocked when you heard the correct lyrics?
My favorite is that when I was young I sang:
"Are you reeling in the yeast...
Stowing away the time...
Are you gathering up the cheese...
Have you had enough of mine?"
Not exactly how Steely Dan intended it, but as a 12 year old I thought I was spot on!
