Okay, so tonight at my house my 11 year old boy and 6 year old girl are playing so great together! It's been this way for a couple of days now and I kind of like -- okay I LOVE IT! I honestly believe that it has something to do with keeping the television turned off (except for the occasional ever-so-popular hometown girl Hannah Montana - she went to the middle school where Taylor will attend in a couple of weeks) and no Playstation games. They have been playing Lego's, board games, Star Wars (light sabre wars!) and now for the best: Tonight they are superheroes named...
PLUNGER MAN & TOILET PAPER GIRL!
I'm not sure why this is fun for them but don't you just love young'uns???

Weekend Ramblings
I hope you all had an awesome weekend! Can I bore you with the details of mine? :)
Nothing says "Quality Family Time" like dinner at Costco! Yes, indeedy -- we went to Costco for dinner on Friday night. Did you know that you can feed a family of four, including dessert, for about $10 plus some change! We had a few things to get and had a gourmet meal sitting at the picnic tables watching all the people go by with their big, oversized portions of E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! My favorite was the couple who went by with the football field size plasma TV that cost a zillion dollars, along with the entertainment center to go with it, and a dolly to help them move it into their house! I tried not to covet, but it was really hard.
Saturday morning, I cleaned out my pantry. Carmen can attest to the fact that my pantry was N.A.S.T.Y! I guess seeing her pictures of her newly organized pantry was inspirational. Some of the things I found in my pantry:
1. 1/2 of a box of Chex cereal purchased at Christmas to make Chex Mix. Why do we go through the trouble of making Chex Mix? The incredients cost about $15 and I can buy a humongous bag of Chex Mix at Costco for around $6.98. Hmmmmm.....
2. 10 bags of Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix -- also purchased at Christmas. Now these are still good to use, but I'm just wondering why I thought I needed this many bags of sugar cookie mix?
3. An onion that had sprouted such a huge sprout that it looked like a Veggie Tale character!
4. A box of 200 -- yes, 200! -- Flavor-Ices! When are we ever going to eat this many Flavor-Ices? Must have been a memory from my first pregnancy. I craved the things and would eat about 5 of them every night before I went to bed. Yikes!
5. 175 plastic bags from Kroger, Publix, Target, Walmart, Dollar General, etc. Apparently, there is going to be a shortage of these one day and if you need a hook-up, I gotcha covered!
Saturday afternoon it was off to the Sounds baseball game. For those of you who don't live in the Nashville area, we have a baseball team. Poor things! They have been trying to get a new stadium forever and it just isn't panning out for them. At any rate, it was "Faith & Family" night. Nothing says Faith & Family like cold beer being peddled in the stands and a fireworks display set to "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses! :)
Now before I bore you completely to tears with this rambling post...
Today, I sang with the praise team at church and it was a wonderful service. Our church is so awesome! We had a sweet time of prayer for our military and our country. Sara and prayed for her. Her husband, Cliff, is in Iraq right now. When I see her I'm reminded of the unbelievable cost of our freedom! Spontaneous worship followed our prayer time with Revelation Song. This song never gets old to me and it was a powerful time in our congregation. What an amazing scene from my place on stage -- a sea of people in total and completely abandoned worship of the Lord God Almighty!
